Welcome to the District Council of Grant

The District Council of Grant was created on 1 July 1996, following the amalgamation of the District Council of Mount Gambier and Port MacDonnell. It is situated in the South Eastern corner of South Australia and incorporates areas of farming, forestry and coastline.

2012 Causon Havoc Bait & Tackle Bayside Festival

Port MacDonnell is primed for a huge summer of fun, with thousands expected to flock to the crayfish capital for the Causon Havoc Bait & Tackle Bayside Festival on Sunday 8 January 2012. The nationally acclaimed Australian Queen Tribute Show will headline a packed, full-day program which has been put together by a dedicated band of local volunteers.
